Our programs are designed to help you make healthy life choices inside and outside of the gym. Our nutrition plans are based around you as an individual and are included at no extra cost as part of your program.
Where do I start?
You always hear the experts telling you to eat 5-7 smaller meals throughout the day. You may hear them talk about things such as low carb diets, low fat diets, and calorie restriction. But what does it all mean and what is the reasoning behind them.
How does my body work?
How do I burn fat? How do I gain muscle? How does my metabolism work and how to I get it to work better? We start by teaching you the basics of how your body works. We don’t expect you to know how every little detail of your body works. But if you have a better understanding of how your body works, you will better understand how to get the results you want.
How do calories work inside of your body?
What does a carb do? What does protein do? What does fat do? What does alcohol do? How do these things effect my body in terms of health and weight loss? We want you to understand what role each of these things does in your body.
When should I be eating what?
Why should I eat carbs in the morning and before my workout? Why shouldn't I eat very many at night? How much protein should I have in a day? Understanding how much of each nutrient and how they work in your body at different times of the day is one of the biggest keys to your goals.
How do I eat before and after my workout?
Maybe one of the biggest misconceptions people have is that they can just start working out and lose weight if they have been maintaining weight without exercising. If you are not eating right before and after your workout, you put yourself at risk of actually regressing and going away from your goals. If you start losing muscle, you will start storing fat, and it all has to do with nutrition.
Putting it all together.
The key to a successful program is putting everything together. Once you have the resistance training, cardio training, nutrition, and commitment down; nothing can get in your way!
